Well, lucky me, one of the Pier 1 Imports in Mesa was going out of business and EVERYTHING in the store was 50% off the lowest price. I went browsing to see if I could find a steal of a deal on furniture that would work in my house... instead I found this nice set of Italian, hand-painted dishes. Thanks to this going out of business sale, I can now check "furnish the china hutch" off my decoration check list!
These dishes were already on clearance for 50% off. Then take an additional 50% off means that I got a sweet steal of a deal on dishes, instead of furniture. According to my rough calculations, this serving set for 8 should have cost me over $450. I got them for..... (drum roll, please)........
Less than $150!!!!!!
Thank your Pier 1 Imports on Alma School and Southern for going out of business! Or should I say, thank you Alma School and Southern for turning into a ghetto neighborhood where no one wants to shop anymore?

thanks for sharing. I'd been wondering what deal you got since you txt msgd me. Great deal sis, cool dishes, nice way to fill in that china hutch.
Those are so pretty. I love them and the hutch!
Beautiful dishes Rebecca. It's nice to see them up close and personal. Great deal too. Mom
What a sweet deal, and so lovely besides. Thank you Alma School and Southern for being the ghetto--just like you say! ;)
Cute dishes! It always feels so good to be able to check things off to do lists.
Too true about Alma School and Southern. Can you believe the girls used to live right there? I can't even think about it. Anyways, the dishes are very cute in your hutch. Nice work.
You have great taste Rebecca. We can't wait to come visit your new home.
